Emmy Horley - Fibre Artist
Emmy is a self-taught fibre artist inspired by the beauty of the South-West coast of Australia.
What started as a gentle way to slow down and be present has grown into a grounding practice of creative expression.
Her work is a fusion of macramé and weaving techniques and reflects the landscapes that surround her. Muted tones of sea and sky, worn textures of rock and sand, and the soft rhythms of the tide.
Each piece is created slowly and intuitively to bring a sense of calm, just like the spaces that inspire them.
