I’m so happy you’re here. Let me introduce myself.
I’m Emmy (short for Emily) and I always dreamed of being an artist.

For as long as I can remember, my favourite way to spend my time has been surrounded by craft supplies. I always found calmness and rest through making things with my hands. Now, as an adult, I have found my way back to creating. What started as another creative hobby has turned into a passion and fulfilling creative practice.

Macramé and weaving give me the time to slow down and be present. The repetitive motion of tying knots and the lovely tactile sensations of rope and yarn in my fingers help me to shift out of my head and into my body. It is a mindful and meditative process.

I hope by sharing my practice and my art I can bring a moment of calm to you too.
